Biography
Giovanni Pau is a professor at Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Kore University of Enna, Italy. Prof. Pau received his Bachelor degree in Telematic Engineering from University of Catania, Italy; and both his Master’s degree (cum Laude) in Telematic Engineering and PhD from Kore University of Enna, Italy. Prof. Pau is the author/co–author of more than 35 refereed articles published in journals and conferences proceedings. He is an Associate Member of the IEEE (Italy Section) and has been involved in the organization of several international conferences as session co-chair and technical program committee member. Prof. Pau serves/served as a leading Guest Editor in special issue of several international journals and is an editorial board member as Associate Editor of Journal of Network and Computer Applications (Elsevier), Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing (Hindawi) and Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences (Springer). His research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks, home automation, fuzzy logic, Internet of Things and real-time systems.

Research Interests are wired and wireless telecommunications networks; wireless sensor networks (WSN); approaches for energy management in WSN; soft computing techniques (fuzzy logic, neural networks); real-time systems; scheduling techniques; IT approaches applied to the control of aircraft
