Biography
Tatsuya Suzuki Tatsuya Suzuki was born in Aichi, JAPAN, in 1964. He received the B.S., M.S. and PhD degrees in Electronic Mechanical Engineering from Nagoya University, JAPAN in 1986, 1988 and 1991, respectively. From 1998 to 1999, he was a visiting researcher of the Mechanical Engineering Department of U.C.Berkeley. Currently, he is a Professor of the Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering, Director ofthe Green Mobility Research Institute of Nagoya University, and Principal Investigator in JST, CREST. He won the outstanding paper award in International Conference on Control Automation and Systems 2008. He also won the journal paper award from IEEJ, SICE and JSAE in 1995, 2009 and 2010, respectively. His current research interests are in the areas of analysis and design of human-centric mobility systems and integrated design of transportation and energy management systems. Dr.Suzuki is a member of the SICE, ISCIE, IEICE, JSAE, RSJ, JSME, IEEJ and IEEE.
